The Daisy autism village was founded by Nomsa Masoka a social entrepreneur, speech therapist and audiologist. She is also the founder of Mothers of Children With Autism ( MOCWA) . She has a wealth of professional knowledge regarding autism and special needs. She also has a son living with Autism. She opened this facility mainly because there are not so many facilities that caters for adult autistic individuals and there is also a lack of autism specific programs.
